Mr. Christopher M. "Paco" Brunell, 30, of Pinewood Drive, Rouses Point, New York died Monday, July 5, 2010 as a result of an automobile accident. He was born in Plattsburgh, New York on October 11, 1979 the son of Michael and Lenore (Miller) Brunell. Chris graduated from Northern Adirondack Central School and attended SUNY Canton and Clinton Community College. He was a correction officer at Altona Correctional Facility. Chris enjoyed playing, baseball, softball, golf, basketball, soccer, hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered as a loving father, fiancé, son, grandson and great grandson. He was predeceased by two brothers; Michael and Chad Brunell, his paternal grandfather Terry Brunell, his maternal great grandmother Lillian Williamson and an Aunt Brenda Brunell. Chris is survived by his fiancé Carmen A. Deso of Rouses Point, his son Rylan Brunell at home, his parents Michael Brunell and his fiance Jody Deno of Plattsburgh, his mother Lenore Miller and her fiancé Joe Benware of Dannemora, his paternal grandmother Barbara Brunell of Altona, his maternal grandparents Eugene Miller, Sr. of Altona, Gladys Carter and her husband Lee of Ellenburg Depot, paternal great grandmother Marie Mitchell of Altona, his fiance's parents James and Shirley Deso of Rouses Point, his fiance's siblings, Brent Deso and his wife Melissa of Rouses Point, Andrew Deso of Rouses Point, a step brother Adam Deno of Plattsburgh, a step sister Danielle Thew and her husband John of West Chazy, his aunts and uncles; Jeanne and Mike Bushey of Altona, Karen and Francis Tourville of Altona, Danny and Shawn Brunell of Altona, James and Kim Brunell of Altona, John and Karen Brunell of Altona, Thomas and Keitha Brunell of Mooers Forks, Edmond and Stacey Brunell of Altona, Billy and Taylor Miller of Plattsburgh, Eugene and Sheila Miller, Jr. of Altona, Larry and Kelly Miller of Sciota, Gary and Shelby Miller of Champlain, one nephew Devin Brunell of Ellenburg, one niece Hannah Thew of West Chazy, his canine companions Sable and Bailey, several cousins also survive him. Calling hours will be Wednesday, July 7, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Brown Funeral Home, 3123 Miner Farm Road, Altona, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Angels Church, Altona. Interment will follow at Holy Angels Cemetery.
