Christopher Thomas Hebert

February 20, 1965 — May 2, 2024

Christopher T. Hebert, born February 20, 1965, left this world on May 2, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. He is survived by his devoted wife Sonya (Duso), whom he married on February 14, 2004, and his cherished children: Mathew Hebert of Chateaugay, Jerrica Spear of Albany, Brentt Spear of Champlain, and Taylorr Spear and her fiancé Albert Breyette of West Chazy. His presence will continue to be felt through his adored grandchildren: Gage, Robert, and Chelcee Breyette; Terrin King; Havenn, Marceline, and Braydenn Spear; and Jacee and Jaxx Spear-Breyette. Christopher is also survived by his siblings Cheryl Langlais and husband Chris, Clifford Hebert and wife Tammy, Cindy Hoff, and Carla DuBrey and husband Sherwood, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews. Christopher graduated from Northern Adirondack Central School in 1983 and proudly served his country in the US Army, receiving an honorable discharge in 1985. He pursued his passion for mechanics, working at various establishments over the years. Christopher found joy in simple pleasures, such as watching football, especially cheering on the Patriots, and tinkering with engines. He loved nothing more than gathering around the firepit, indulging in s'mores, and savoring a cold beer. His affinity for Chevrolets was matched only by his devotion to his family. Those who knew Christopher will fondly remember his quick wit, infectious smile, and unwavering humor. His sharp comebacks and big heart endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him. Christopher's love for his family, including his beautiful wife, children, grandchildren, and extended family, was boundless. While Christopher's physical presence may be gone, his spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will be cherished forever. Memorial services will be held Monday, May 6th from 1pm-3pm at Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, NY 12901. A Prayer will be offered at 3pm followed by burial at Ingraham Cemetery with Military Honors. Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Home.
