Christopher N Hooper

Christopher Noble Hooper, 52, of Plattsburgh, died Saturday, December 21, 2019 at the UVM-CVPH Medical Center. He was born in Malone, on August 6, 1967 the son of Peter Hooper and Susan (Griffith).
Chris served his country in the United States Army. Following his honorable discharge, he worked for Wyeth Ayerst/Pfizer and later for CVPH. He was an avid fan of the San Francisco 49ers. Chris appreciated reading books by Terry Brooks and R.A. Salvatore. In his free time he could be found playing computer games, playing paintball, going 4-wheeling, skiing, camping and kayaking. He had a love for music attending concerts and playing guitar. His greatest love was playing video games with his grandson, and spending time with his family and friends.
He was predeceased by his mother, Susan Gibson.
He is survived by his father, his fiancé, Laurie (Guynup) Devins, his children; Brandon Hooper, Joshua (Beth) Devins, and Kelsea (Kyle) Reece, his grandchildren Jack and Gavin Devins, his siblings; Timothy (Amy) Hooper, Tony (Mary) Hooper, and Pete (Kelly) Hooper, his step-father, David Gibson, many nieces and nephews, his feline-companion Thomas.
Calling hours will be Friday, December 27, 2019 from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm at the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh. A funeral service will be celebrated by close family friend, Fr. Bill Edwards, on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 10:00am at the Brown Funeral Home.
