Claire Major

Plattsburgh Mrs. Claire Major, of Peru Street, Plattsburgh, New York passed away unexpectedly Friday May 16, 2008 at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake, New York. She was born in Valleyfield, Quebec Canada on October 6, 1947 the daughter of Urban and Jeanne (Rochon) Sauve. Claire enjoyed crafts and spending time with her family. Claire is survived by her husband of forty three years Renald Major of Plattsburgh, two sons; Randy Major and his wife Laura and their children Debbie Major and Brittani Hellen of Plattsburgh, Brian Major and his wife Candy and their children Jacob and Emily of Peru. At Claire's request there will be no calling hours or funeral services. Following cremation interment will be at St. Peter's Cemetery.
