Mrs. Claire E. Reeves, 82, formerly of Lakeview Towers, Plattsburgh, New York passed away Saturday, May 31, 2008 at the Fletcher Allen Health Care Facility in Burlington, Vermont. She was born in New York City, New York on April 4, 1926 the daughter of Joseph and Clara (Casagrande) Raffetto. Claire had been a monitor at Oak Street School. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, traveling and spending time with her family. Claire was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church and the Rosary Altar Society of Our Lady of Victory Church. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Clara Raffetto, her husband Raymond W. Reeves and a son Richard Reeves. Claire is survived by a daughter Cathy Matthews and her husband Jim of Beekmantown, a son William Reeves and his wife Darla of Shelburne, Vermont, four grandchildren; Michael Reeves and his wife Janice of Saratoga Springs, Danielle Powers and her husband Matt of Morrisonville, Lizabeth Carroll and her husband Shane of Gulfport, Mississippi, Jenny Matthews of Beekmantown, a daughter-in-law Jan Reeves of Plattsburgh, two step grandchildren; Christopher Premore and his wife Cathy of Plattsburgh, Meighan Brooks of Plattsburgh, six great grandchildren; Dylan, Brandon and Nicholas Carroll, Abby and Lucas Reeves, Caleb Powers, three step great grandchildren; Wyatt and Rachel Premore and Emma Brooks, two sisters-in-law; Mrs. Peter (Rita) Andresakis of Plattsburgh, Geraldine Pellicano of Peru, several nieces and nephews.
