Clara Estelle Trombley (Lavarnway)

Clara Estelle Trombley, 93 of Plattsburgh, passed Wednesday October 9 at CVPH Skilled Nursing Facility. She was born on August 29, 1926 in Saranac Lake, NY. the daughter of Louis and Anita LaVarnway.
Clara married Francis “George “ Trombley on November 28,1945. They settled in Plattsburgh and raised 9 children. Two daughters and seven sons. In 1987, Clara and George retired and spent winters in Apache Junction, AZ. and summers in Plattsburgh until 2010.
Clara is survived by one daughter and five sons. Linda and Jim Simmers , George and Christine, Marc, Brian and Barbara, Craig and Becky, all of Plattsburgh. Chris and Frances of Flowery Branch,GA. Also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her husband George Trombley, a daughter Barbara Garrant, sons Stephen and David Trombley and her brother , Louis LaVarnway.
Thank you to the Staff at the Skilled Nursing Facility for taking good care of our Mother during the nine plus years she lived there.
