Plattsburgh Mrs. Clara A. "Pee Wee" Neiman, 72, of Wall Street in Plattsburgh, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2011 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Redford on May 10, 1938, the daughter of Francis and Dorothy (LaValley) Lareau. Clara was a life member of the Peru Rod and Gun Club and a life member and Past President of the American Legion Post 20 Auxillary in Plattsburgh. She enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles and BINGO. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Victory Church She is survived by husband of 54 years, Charles Neiman, four sons and a daughter in law; Charles Neiman III , John Neiman, Loren Neiman, David and Judy Neiman, all of Plattsburgh, two daughters and sons in law; Susan and John Devins of Beekmantown, Kari and Todd Prinsen of Plattsburgh, her mother; Dorothy Rachkaitis of Wallingford, Ct., two sisters and a brother in law; Noami "Penny" and John Thornton of Wallingford, Ct., Fairley Reome of Gaffney, S.C., 6 grandchildren; David James of Chesapeake, Va., Matthew Hammond and Jessica Hammond of Plattsburgh, Chad Neiman and Jamie Neiman of Plattsburgh, Michelle Davis of Plattsburgh ;three great grandchildren; Logan Webber, Kalob Webber and Caden Clark, a special aunt; Doris Lareau of Plattsburgh, a special friend Irene Brown of Plattsburgh, and several nieces and nephews . In accordance with her wishes, there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 28, 2011 at 11:00 am from Our Lady of Victory Church. Interment will be in St. Peter's cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations may be offered to Our Lady of Victory Church.
