Plattsburgh Clarence M. Miller, 86, formerly of Champlain Street, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2008 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh under the wonderful care of their Skilled Nursing Facility. He was born in Plattsburgh on January 18, 1922, son of the late George and Eva (Gebo) Miller. Clarence had been employed by Grand Union Grocery Store in Plattsburgh, retiring in 1994. He was a member of St. Peter's Parish in Plattsburgh. Clarence enjoyed watching New York Yankee's baseball. Clarence is survived by a son, Gary Miller of Plattsburgh and several nieces and nephews. Clarence was pre-deceased by his wife, Eleanor (Lashway) Miller and a sister, Viola Bezio. Calling hours will be Wednesday, April 2, 2008, from 2-4 and 7-9 at Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at 11:00 AM from St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh. A reception will be in the Emmaus Room at St. Peter's Church following the funeral. Burial will be later in the year in St. Peter's Cemetery in Plattsburgh.
