Claude G. Tetreault, 83, of Tetreault Drive, Plattsburgh, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 21, 2024, at the UVM Medical Center in Burlington, VT. After graduating high school, Claude embarked on a career as a customs broker, demonstrating a strong work ethic and dedication to his profession. He later channeled his entrepreneurial spirit and passion for archery into founding his own business, The Bow Doc, in Plattsburgh, NY. Through his business, Claude fostered a community of archery enthusiasts and made lasting contributions to the local sporting scene. Claude found contentment in his diverse hobbies and interests. He enjoyed adventures in metal detecting, fishing, bowhunting, relishing the serene view of the lake from his home, and cherishing the companionship of his beloved dogs and cats. He also found great joy in watching the races with his close friend Andy Bordeau, creating memories that will be fondly remembered. Predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Lillian Tetreault, and his brother, Richard Tetreault, Claude leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory. He is survived by his son, Shawn Tetreault; daughter, Danielle Chase; granddaughter, Emmie Chase; granddaughter, Maggie Garrow; his brothers, Denis, Gerald, and Norman Tetreault; his sisters, Susan Tetreault and Linda Lacroix; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family will be holding a private celebration of life this summer to honor and remember Claude. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home.
