www.brownfuneralhomeinc.com Plattsburgh Dale Roger Hamel, 60, of Granger, IN passed away unexpectedly Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, Indiana. He was the owner of Club Landing, South Bend. Dale was born June 7, 1953 in Plattsburgh, New York. He married Jeanette Simon who survives. Also surviving are his children, Travis Hamel (Tracy) of South Bend, IN., Sarah Deisinger (Daryl) of Goshen, IN. and Adam Hamel (Sonya) of Mishawaka, IN.; his mother and step father, Lillian and Carlton Rizzie of Plattsburgh, NY; his step-children, Joey of Myrtle Beach, SC and Abby of Chicago, IL; four granddaughters, Madelyn, Holly, Audrey, and Brooklyn; sisters, Dawn Manley (John) of Saratoga Springs, NY and Debbie Allen (Dan) of St. Augustine, FL; brother, Derek Hamel (Jen Reisig) of Marlton, NJ; nieces Danielle Hamel and Emily Manley; and nephews Dustin Hamel and Bryan Allen. He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Hamel and brother, Drew Hamel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at St. Peter's Church. Interment will be in Assumption Cemetery in Redford at 1:30 pm Saturday Memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association.
