Daniel A. Boulrice, 73, of 42 Irona Road, Altona, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 1, 2025. He was born in Plattsburgh on September 17, 1951, the son of Oveldia and Marie “Hattie” Boulrice. Dan attended Altona Central school and later graduated from Northern Adirondack Central School. He worked at Imperial Wallcoverings and retired from Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. He was an avid hunter who loved to be out in the woods. He shot archery for many years and enjoyed shooting competitively. He coached youth baseball in Altona for many years and loved watching his children and grandchildren play sports. Dan is survived by his wife Cheryl (Belair) Boulrice, sons; Brad Boulrice, Jason (Alice) Boulrice, Casey Boulrice, a step-daughter Rachel Van Meter, a sister Betty (Ronald) Peryer, a sister-in-law Marie Boulrice, brothers-in-law; his aunt Stella (Donald) Mitchell, four grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his parents and three brothers: Lawrence, Vernon, and Ronald. Dan will be remembered for his great storytelling and one of a kind laugh. He will be missed dearly by his many friends and family who loved him. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday March 5, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.
