West Chazy Mr. Daniel Robert Loughan, 31, of the Golden Road, West Chazy, New York passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 26, 2008. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on August 9, 1976 the son of William and Ruth (Barton) Loughan. Daniel had attended University at Albany and Plattsburgh State University. He was the owner of Vast Automotive in Plattsburgh, New York. Daniel was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed snowmobiling and watching the Celtics and playing basketball. He was predeceased by his mother Ruth Barton Kennedy and his paternal grandfather Robert E. Loughan. Daniel is survived by his wife Rebecca "Becky" (Branham) Loughan of West Chazy, New York, his father William Loughan and his wife Arlene of Point au Fer, his maternal grandmother Frances Rock and her husband Ernest of Peru, his stepfather Jack Kennedy of Morrisonville, his paternal grandmother Norma B. Loughan of Plattsburgh, his father-in-law William Branham of Plattsburgh, his mother-in-law Georgia Branham of Plattsburgh, his sisters-in-law Kim Covey of Plattsburgh, Dina Guynup and her husband David of Plattsburgh, a brother-in-law Josh Branham of Plattsburgh, a stepbrother, John Kennedy and his wife Nancy of Saranac, his step sisters, Melissa Cayea of Plattsburgh, Cortney Demarais of Plattsburgh, his maternal aunts; Christine Bissonette and her husband Bryce of Morrisonville, Pattie Lawfer of Morrisonville, his maternal uncle Charles Barton and his wife Jane of Redford, his paternal uncles; Stephen Loughan and his wife Norma of Plattsburgh, Robert M. Loughan and his wife Melanie of Plattsburgh, Chris Loughan and his wife Pam of Plattsburgh, his paternal aunts, Mary Terwilleger and her husband Mike of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; Peggy Kendall and her husband Chris of Morrisville, NY, his cousins; Manzie, Kelly, Charles, Erin, Matthew, Grayson, Bailie, Callie, Mackenzie, Sophie, Niel, Nathan, Caletta, Ryan, Shannon, Sean, Dustin, Kellen, Casey, Robert, Ian, Ashley and Hannah, six nieces and two nephews. Calling hours will be Tuesday July 29, 2008 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Alexander's Church, Morrisonville. Interment will follow at St. Alexander's Cemetery.
