Daniel F. Patnode

Daniel F. Patnode, 74, of Plattsburgh, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at the UVM Health Network-CVPH with family by his side. he was born in Plattsburgh on December 15, 1949, the son of the late Lawrence and Jane (Perry) Patnode. Daniel served in the U.S. Air Force from 1968 to 1981 and later was employed as a Corrections officer at Clinton Correctional Facility for 32 years. He enjoyed tinkering with Classic Cars, computers, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Nel (Vos) Patnode, his daughter Miranda Wong and her companion Hans , his siblings and their spouses; Linda and Marlon McDonald of Mooers, Randy Patnode and Cindy Kimball of West Chazy, Laura Wilson of Altona, brothers in law; Wallace LaGoy, Allen Provost, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, his siblings; Judy Barber, Sandy LaGoy, Debbie Provost, James Patnode, Ellen Rabideau, brothers in law and sisters in law; Richard Barber, Roger Bodah, Carol Patnode, and Grant Wilson, nephews Shawn Patnode, Larry Rabideau, Joseph Patnode, and Stephen Provost. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street in Plattsburgh. Funeral services with military honors will follow at 4:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to the Elmore S.P.C.A.
