Darlene J. Goddeau

Darlene J. Goddeau, 69, of Cadyville, NY, passed away on November 29, 2023 at her home with her family by her side under the care of Hospice of the North Country. She was born in Plattsburgh on June 29, 1954 , the daughter of Sanford and Viola Baker Darlene graduated from Peru Central School in 1972. She married Roy Goddeau on May 17, 1997. Darlene enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and pets; Remi, Sandy and Willow. She was predeceased by her parents, her siblings; Sanford Baker, Jr., Donald Baker, Arthur Baker and Sandra Bressette, her in-laws; Joseph "Bucky" and Genieveve Goddeau, a sister-in-law Brenda Goddeau and brother-in-law Larry Goddeau. Darlene is survived by her husband Roy, her children; Robert Thompson of IL, Brent Thompson of Peru and Heather (Jay) Dougherty of Redford, eight grandchildren; Bobby, Kelsey, Mallorie, Marley, Christopher, Zachary, MaKayla and Hannah, a great granddaughter; Roseanna May, two siblings; Cindy (Doug) Laporte of Rouses Point, and Jack (Sharon) Baker of Morrisville, NY, several other family members also survive her. Calling hours will be held on Sunday December 3, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday December 5, 2023 at 9:30 am at St. Augustine's Cemetery in Peru. Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Home.
