Darlene Viola Wood

Darlene Viola Wood 69, of Tupper Lake died Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake surrounded by her family.
She was born on June 30, 1950 in Riverview, she was the daughter of Clayton and Dorothy Wood.
She is survived by one son; Keith Lee Gadway and his companion Amanda Frary of Peru, New York; two grandchildren Dennis Gadway of Tupper Lake and Adam Gadway of Peru, New York; three sisters; Rachel Snow and her husband Robert of Randolph, Massachusetts, Tina Wood and her companion James Theriault of Saranac Lake, Pamela Denis and her husband Henry of Tupper Lake; four brothers; Rocky Wood of Redford, Barry Wood and his wife Beverly of Beekmantown, Barton Wood and his companion Betty Disotell of Plattsburgh, Danny Wood and his wife Carla of Piercefield, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Clayton and Dorothy Wood and five brothers; Ned, Ted, Randy, Leo, Steve and two sisters; Beverly Bombard and Cindy Sorrell.
Darlene was an avid bingo player and will be greatly missed by all.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019 from 1:00 to 2:00pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Assumption Cemetery in Redford at a later date..
