Morrisonville Darrell W. Collins, 63, of Sand Road, Morrisonville, NY passed away on Saturday February 2, 2013 at his home. He was born in Plattsburgh on April 19, 1949 the son of Wilmer and Bessie (Blake) Collins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday February 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church in Treadwells Mills. Darrell worked for Brannon Construction in Plattsburgh. He loved animals, being outdoors and trips to the casino. Darrell will be remembered for helping people and working on projects. He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers; Kenneth Collins and Stephen Collins, a sister Betty Senecal and a granddaughter, Amanda Collins-Goddeau. Darrell is survived by his wife of forty-one years, Linda (Rabideau) Collins of Morrisonville, two children; Amy Collins and companion Russell Provost of West Chazy and Darrell Collins and his wife Rebecca of Morrisonville, three grandchildren; Payden and Emily Collins-Durham and Audrey Lester, three sisters; Loretta Rock her husband Ronald of Saranac, Patirica Blake of UT and Madeline Hemmingway and her husband David of Jericho, several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive him. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday February 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church in Treadwells Mills.
