David W Pereira

David W. Pereira, 77, passed away peacefully Tuesday May 5, 2020 at his home, his loving wife by his side. He was born in Wareham, Massachusetts on December 27, 1942, son of Cazimiro and Estella (Wise) Pereira. David retired from Johnson & Johnson in 2006. He was a devout member of St. Alexander’s Church and donated countless hours to the church serving at funerals and other events. Dave enjoyed photography and cooking.
He was predeceased by his parents, his siblings Cazimiro Jr. and Stephen.
David is survived by his loving wife Marlyn (Gidney) Pereira; his children, Michelle, David Jr., Kristin; his grandchildren, David Daniel, Darius Jacob; his siblings, Sr. Benvinda Ann, Maria, Angelina, Cecile, Pedro, Vincent; nieces and nephews.
Due to the pandemic, services will be private.
A memorial mass will be held at a later date at St. Alexander’s Church.
Entombment will be at St. Alexander’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Alexander’s Altar Fund for a memorial to be dedicated to David.
