Deanna M O'Connell (Provost)

Deanna M. O’Connell, 82, of Cadyville, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at the UVM-CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Plattsburgh on March 29, 1937, daughter of Albert and Genevieve (Ashline) Provost.
She was a true mother, taking care of her 5 sons. She enjoyed watching football and was an avid New England Patriots fan. Deanna enjoyed camping with her husband, Roger, especially at her favorite camp site at Fish Creek.
She is predeceased by her parents, her step-father Vern Gibbs, her husband Roger, her granddaughter Caitlyn O’Connell, her sister Marjorie Carpenter, and her brother Sonny Provost.
She is survived by her five sons; Roger O’Connell, Greg O’Connell, Scott O’Connell and his companion, Molly Towne, Mike O’Connell and his wife, Jill, Kevin O’Connell and his wife, Carol, her grandchildren, Amanda, David, James, Brandon, Kelli, Meghan, Amber, Ashlyn and Riley, seven great-grandchildren, her brothers, Philip Provost and his wife Edie, and Tommy Provost, her brother-in-law Larry Carpenter, and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Thursday, August 1, 2019 from 1:00-3:00pm at the Brown Funeral Home, in Cadyville. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel.
