Deborah R "Debi" Johnson

Keeseville Deborah R. "Debi" Johnson, 62, of Hallock Hill, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at the UVM CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh, with her family by her side. She was born in Waterville, ME on February 27, 1954 the daughter of Faith Brown. Debi came to Plattsburgh while serving in the U. S. Air Force. She was office manager for the family business, Johnson's Auto Glass, for many years. Debi was a lover of all animals, especially horses. She often could be found riding her horse, Gonzo. She enjoyed all of the horse stables she was at, as well as the wonderful people she connected with throughout the North Country Horse Community. Debi loved going to Myrtle Beach and shopping at the small and unique shops with her husband. She thoroughly enjoyed the views from the family ranch on Hallock Hill. She was predeceased by her step-father, Raymond Legere. She is survived by her husband of forty one years, Dan Johnson of Hallock Hill, her children; Scott Johnson of Outer Banks, NC, Brenton Johnson and his companion Abby Palace, Heber City, UT, her step-son, Kristopher Johnson and his wife Donna, of Charlotte, NC, her mother, Faith Legere, of Saco, ME, her sister, Pamela Garwood and her husband Michael of San Antonio, TX and their 2 children, and her brother-in-law, Dick Johnson and his companion Sally Terry of Plattsburgh, and her beloved pets both past and present. Debi had a unique quality to make everyone feel comfortable. She will be greatly missed by all the people whose lives she touched. There will be no public calling hours. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Turnpike Wesleyan Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to local animal rescues.
