Debra L O'Keefe

Debra L. O'Keefe, 66 of Plattsburgh, New York passed away on Tuesday May 24th, 2022, at home. She was born in Plattsburgh on November 8th, 1955. The daughter of Kenneth Allen and Gertrude Ormsby.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, John O'Keefe. Daughters: Danielle (Bryan) Dousharm, Jessika (Daniel Doner) Kari O'Keefe, Sons: Don (Bambi) Allen, Shaun (Tasha) O'Keefe Jason O'Keefe.

Her grandchildren, Tyler and Jayden Dousharm, Lily Allen, Cameron Doner.

Debra comes from a big family. She leaves behind several sisters, and a brother, many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

She was more than happy to be the central figure in the lives of her children. Anyone who knew them knew that she she was a star in their eyes, and that's all that ever mattered to her. She always provided support and love for her family. She always made time for everyone.

She enjoyed doing her crafts, spending time with family and friends, she enjoyed collecting stuffed animals. She loved watching horror movies and during the holidays The Hallmark Channel. She also loved shopping.

Debra was predeceased by her parents, her brother Lonnie Allen, her granddaughter Nichelle Dousharm and grandson Aodhan O'Keefe.

Visitation will take place at 11:00am on Wednesday June 1st, 2022 at Brown's Funeral Home, followed by a funeral ceremony at 12PM within the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Peru Cemetery at 1pm.
