Dolores W Young

Plattsburgh Dolores W. Young, 86, of Robert Long Apartments, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the Meadowbrook Health Care Facility with her loving family by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh, NY on August 20, 1930 the daughter of Theodore and Edith (Bouvier) Doucette. Dolores was an aide at Oak Street School retiring in 2005 after more than thirty years of service. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with family and friends. Dolores was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Donald Young, her brothers; Gerald and Allen Doucette, a sister Janet Bouyea and her triplet sisters; Dora and Doris. She is survived by a daughter Hope Feuerstein and her husband Ed of Glenville, NY, two sons; Shane Young and his wife Rita of Tampa, FL and Michael Young of Plattsburgh, a sister Hope Doucette of Plattsburgh, three grandchildren, Kristina Sowell and her husband Alondo of Clarksville, TN, Brittany and Zachary Feuerstein both of Glenville, NY, three great grandchildren; Lealani, Sherrod and Alondo Sowell, Jr., several nieces and nephews also survive her. Calling hours will be Thursday June 22, 2017 from 9:00 to 11:00 am at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, NY. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at the Plainfield Union Cemetery in Pen Argyl, PA.
