Donald H Guynup

Donald H. “Don” Guynup, 95, of Plattsburgh, passed away Friday, July 1, 2022 at the UVM-CVPH Medical Center with his family by his side. He was born January 7, 1927, in Ingraham, the son of Charles and Ethel (St.Clair) Guynup.

He retired from Truck Driving from Asbestos Eastern in Champlain. Donald loved to go to auctions. His greatest joy was to be with his family.

He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Geri, brothers Charles, Bernard, Larence, Gerald, William, Gene and his sister Betty Kendrick.

He is survived by his daughter Donna McLennan and his son Bernard Guynup (Elaine Thompson), his brothers James (Wanda) Guynup, John (Theresa) Guynup, sister-in-laws Nancy Guynup, and Sharon Guynup, 3 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 11:00am at St. Alexander’s Cemetery, Morrisonville.
