Chazy Mr. Donald W. "Pep" Pepper, Jr., 58, of the Ratta Road, Chazy, NY passed away Thursday, April 12, 2012 at his home. He was born in Elizabethtown, New York on September 14, 1953 the son of Donald W. and Arlene (Tilley) Pepper, Sr. Pep was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He enjoyed the Yankees, Green Bay Packers, motorcycle riding, playing cribbage, playing cards and spending time with family and friends. He lived life to the fullest and will be remembered for being a giving person and would do anything for his friends. Pep was predeceased by a sister Candice Bailey and her husband Harlow. He is survived by his parents Donald "Stub" and Arlene Pepper of Chazy, the mother of his children Laura Light of Keene, two daughters; Sadie Manfredi and her husband Mick of Mystic, CT, Lisa Smith and her husband Mark of Keene, his siblings Brenda Drummond and her husband Wayne of Westport, Nancy Munson and her husband Bob of Plattsburgh, Thomas Pepper and his wife Karen of Chazy, Kelly McCormick and her husband Patrick of Plattsburgh, seven grandchildren; Warren, Ciarra, Korenza, Zoe, Sebastian, Abigail and Vivian, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and his special friends John, Lori and Dana and his canine companions George and Brownie also survive him. Calling hours will be Tuesday, April 17, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, New York. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. with the Rev. William G. Reamer, Chaplain at CVPH Medical Center officiating. Interment will be in the Veterans Cemetery in Westport. Friends wishing may make donations to Chazy Ambulance and Fire Department.
