Donald E Smith

Donald E Smith of Peru passed away on February 19, 2020. He was born in Plattsburgh on April 17, 1969 to Jeri and Andy Lamarche and was raised by his maternal grandparents Donald and Wanda Smith.

He graduated from Clinton Community College, attended PSUC, served in the NY Army National Guard and most recently worked at BHSN as a Counselor and took pride in helping others. He was a talented musician and had a great love of the outdoors and his animals.

Above all else, Donny cherished his family. He is survived by his wife Dawn Rushford-Smith, his son Chase Kallman, his daughter Brooke Smith and his special nephew Hunter Breyette.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday February 22, 2020 at 4:00 PM at the Bread of Life Baptist Church, 792 Military Turnpike.
