Donna Jean Spinner

Donna Jean Spinner (Fountain), 66, of Plattsburgh, NY, passed away peacefully May 27th surrounded by her loved ones. Donna was born in Plattsburgh May 17th 1958, the second daughter of 9 children to Roy and Theresa Fountain. Donna was an avid gardener. She enjoyed spending hours in her gardens planting her favorite flowers, including passion flowers, lilies, and foxgloves and tending to her favorite tree, the Dogwood. Donna also loved art. She loved to draw, paint, and work with ceramics. Donna enjoyed putting together craft sessions with her family to make pinecone angels, wreaths and holiday ornaments. Donna was a joy to be around and would light up a room with her laugh. She enjoyed spending time with her family watching movies and telling stories. Donna was survived by her sons, Stephen H (Virginia) Spinner and Scott J (Mary) Spinner, 5 grandchildren, Lilly, Delilah, Charlotte, Harley and Scott Jr. , eight siblings, Linda Miner, Roy (Donna) Fountain, Patrick (Angie) Fountain, Sheila (David) Marsh, Joe (Robin) Fountain, Jennie (David) Harris, Amy (Allen) Parent, and Michelle (Alan) LaDuke, along with many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday May 30th at Meron’s Restaurant in Plattsburgh at 5:00pm. Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Home.
