Donna J West

Donna Jean West (Kennedy) age 58 passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 12, 2018, at University of Vermont Health Network Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh New York. She was born December 11, 1960 in Danbury Connecticut.
She took a wild ride through life and was known as a free spirit. She went where life took her and did so in her own adventurous way, making unforgettable memories with her loving family and friends. She touched many hearts and souls with her infectious personality, while working as a home health aide. She had a love for making candies and sweet treats for her family and friends. She was an accomplished gardener and canner. Passing down her knowledge to anyone who took an interest. The last few years brought her in and out of the hospital and two short stints in the rehabilitation programs at Horace Nye Nursing home and now Essex Centers. She made many friends and enjoyed the staff that supported her. She was able to reconnect with her children and was able to build relationships with them and all her grandchildren. She loved them with every fiber of her being.
She is survived by her parents Larry and Jean Speed of Texas; her Children Andrea Denton, her husband Andrew and their children Amber, Alaina, and Andrew Jr. of Lewis; Bonnie Trombley of Plattsburgh and her children Elizabeth Boyle, Terry Boyle, Destiny Boyle, Sheyanne Boyle and step children Stephanie Labarge, Phillip Boyle and Desiree Boyle; one great grandson Cooper Labarge Jr; Brothers Donald (Kathy) Kennedy of Arkansas, Frank Kennedy and fiancé Tammy Sisco of Texas; Sisters Jean Thompson & husband Robbie of Arkansas; Anne Brown & husband Robert of Texas; Grace Rock & husband Mike of Plattsburgh NY; and several nieces, nephews and friends who she considered family.
She was predeceased by her beloved Marshall “Jay” Morrill on October 13,2017.
We would like to thank everyone who made her last days peaceful.
A gathering of family and friends are to be held at future date.
