Dora E Caron

Dora E. Caron, 88, of Plattsburgh, passed away Monday, May 25, 2020 at her home. She was born in Plattsburgh on March 7, 1932, daughter of the late Richard and Marjorie (Senecal) Lawliss.
Dora loved the holidays and will be missed by the community for her annual Easter Egg Hunt she hosted for over 60 years. She was a faithful person and attended the Salvation Army in worship. She often could be found testing her luck with scratch-off tickets.
She is predeceased by her parents, her husband Richard Caron, her son Herbert Caron, grandson Richard Sears, and her sister Mary Lawliss.
She is survived by her children: Richard Caron and his wife Debra, Cynthia Normandin, Debi Frenyea and her husband Carlton, Maynard Caron, Kenneth Caron, Jacqueline Wilkins and her husband Douglas, Robert Caron and his wife Mary, Susan Sears, and Catherine Ouimette and her husband Roger, her sister Nancy Guynup, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Due to the current pandemic, services will be private for the family. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
