Dorilda M Lambert

Plattsburgh Mrs. Dorilda M. Lambert, 96, formerly of Elizabeth St. in Plattsburgh, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2008 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio after being a patient for one day. She was residing for the last three years with her daughter, Elaine. Dorilda was born in Henrysburg, Quebec on June 21, 1912, the daughter of Isidore and Fabiola (Leduc) Duquette. Dorilda was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church in Plattsburgh and a member of Our Lady of Victory Altar Rosary Society. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Dorilda is survived by six children, Victor Lambert and his wife, Carmen of Plattsburgh, James Lambert of Plattsburgh, Victoria Durocher and her husband, Arthur of Canton, Elaine LaLama and her husband, Danny of Columbus, Ohio, Robert Lambert and his wife, Deborah of Cadyville, Gary Lambert and his wife, Joan of West Chazy, twenty grandchildren, Kathy Lambert, Victor Lambert, Cynthia Lambert, Marilee O'Brien, Debbie Lambert, Kim Lambert, Jamie Lambert, Brian Lambert, David Durocher, Richard Durocher, Robert Durocher, Diane Durocher, John Durocher, Richard Russell, Jim Russell, Greg Lambert, Barry Lambert, Chad Lambert, Lori Lambert, Gary Paul Lambert, many great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Dorilda was pre-deceased by her husband of sixty years, Gordon J. Lambert on January 30, 1989 and a brother, Leo Duquette. Calling hours will be Thursday, November 6, 2008 and Friday, November 7, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 at Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street, Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 11:00 AM from Our Lady of Victory Church in Plattsburgh.
