Doris M Delisle

Doris M. Delisle of 152 Trudeau Road Cadyville, was called home to be with her Savior, and her mother and father on December 20th 2014, with her loving family by her bedside. She was born in Tupper Lake, NY on November 16, 1928 the daughter of Joseph and Emma (Smart) Oshier. She worked at the Pal Blade and Strand Theater in Plattsburgh until she married Kenneth R. Delisle on March 3, 1952 and at that time she started raising her family and that was the pride and joy of her life, was to have her family close by her. She also loved to knit and crochet baby blankets and sweater sets and beautiful table cloths that her children will get to cherish for many years to come that were made from her beautiful heart and hands. She is survived by her husband of 62 years and her children two girls Debbie and her husband Mickey Carpenter, Bonnie and husband Gene Sears, three sons Michael Sr. and his wife Patricia Delisle, Tommy and his wife Missy Delisle, and Scott Delisle, grandchildren Amy and her husband Billy Gallagher, Michael Jr. and his wife Kristin Delisle, Justin and his wife Kristen Delisle, Sara and husband Chris Arnold, Chase, Hannah, Mollie and Loghan Delisle. Great grandchildren Hailley, Mckenzie, Ben, Jacob, Madeleine Delisle, Marissa Vasquez and Michael Gallagher. She is predeceased by her parents and sister Leona and her husband Clarence Dubuque, brother Morris Oshier, mother and father-in-law, brother and sister-in-law Maynard and his wife Stella Delisle and brother-in-law Ernest Collins and Gervis Parent. Calling hours will be Tuesday, December 23, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated December 24, 2014 at 10:00 am at St. James Church in Cadyville.
