Doris M Giguere-Lambert

Plattsburgh Doris M. Giguere-Lambert, 85, of Bushey Blvd. Plattsburgh and formerly of Recore Road, West Chazy, NY, passed away on Friday May 6, 2016 at Evergreen Valley Nursing Home in Plattsburgh. She was born in Champlain, NY on April 30, 1931 the daughter of Roy and Promelia (Tallman) Forette. Doris was a waitress for many years before working at SUNY Plattsburgh as a custodian in the Meyers Fine Arts Building, retiring in 1991. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Champlain, NY. Doris was predeceased by a daughter Karen Ducharme, a grandson Paul Ducharme, a great granddaughter Tia Ducharme, two brothers; Leonard Forette and Roy Forette, Jr. She is survived by her children; Stephen Giguere and his wife Virginia, Janice Giguere and her companion Penny Averill and Gregory Giguere of West Chazy, four great granddaughters and two great great grandsons, several nieces and nephews also survive her. At Doris request there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday May 9, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph's Church in West Chazy, burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
