On Saturday, January 25, 2020, Doris R. King, 91, of Standish Street passed away at home with her family by her side under the care of Hospice of the North Country. She was born in Morrisonville on October 16, 1928, the daughter of Fred and Mabel (Fisher) Bouyea.
She leaves. sons, Steven King and significant other Betty Forgette, Paul King and wife Brenda, daughters, Linda and husband David Richard, Lori and husband Steven Lafaive, all of Plattsburgh. Grandchildren, Jeremy and Sarah King. Ethan King, David Richard Jr., Jennifer Latour, Alisen and Jonathan Lafaive.
Great grandchildren, Anthony, Annalise and Adelynn King-Marcoux, Taylor Richard, Caleigh and Madison Latour and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Donald J. King, a son Mark King, and grandson Alexander King. A devout person she had a strong relationship with God, and a loving and peaceful soul. Her great love for her family showed every day. She will be greatly missed by all.
Our family wishes to thank, Dr. Sliwa and Hospice of the North Country for their extraordinary care. And to Heather our hospice nurse, and Kim Seymour, the love and support from you both is cherished.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 4:00pm to 6:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at 10:00 am at St. Peter's Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery at a later date.
Donations in her memory may be made to Hospice of the North Country.
