Doris M Lareau

Plattsburgh Doris M. Lareau, 100, of Plattsburgh, passed away on Tuesday August 2, 2016 at the Clinton County Nursing Home. She was born in Saranac, NY on June 15, 1916 the daughter of the late Milo and Ruby (Collins) LaValley. Doris never would allow anyone to leave her home hungry and will be missed for her cooking. She was a member Our Lady of Victory Church. She enjoyed playing games; cards, dice, and especially BINGO. Doris is survived by her children; Milo Lareau and his wife Evelyn, Darlean Tuller, Leon "Joey" Lareau and his companion Angela, 25 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Felix L. Leareau, her son, Felix H. Lareau , her daughters; Noreen Shaffer, Marlean Morin, Donna Lee, her sister, Dorothy Rachkaitis, and her brother Herbert LaValley. Services will be private for the family. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. Memorial donations may be offered to the Activities Committee at the Clinton County Nursing Home.
