Dorothy F. Rabideau

Dorothy F Rabideau, 95 of Plattsburgh passed away on January 15, 2025 at the Clinton County nursing home in Plattsburgh, NY. She was born the daughter of Bert and Freida (Forett) Trombley. Dorothy was employed at Clinton County Nursing home for several years. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved to crochet and was an avid puzzler, she was actively working on puzzles into her 95th year. You could always find Dorothy sitting in her front room watching tv and the cars going by on the Tom Miller road. Daily she would visit with friends in family if not in person you would find her on the phone. Dorothy is survived by her seven children; Velma (Francis) Peryea of Altona, Cecelia (Joe) Seymour of Pennsylvania, Roy (Sandra) Rabideau of Altona, Leonard (Monika) Rabideau of Beekmantown, Alvin Rabideau of Altona, Kenneth (Amy) Rabideau of Beekmantown Elaine (Greg) Cooper of Spokane, Washington. 14 Grandchildren 19 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild. Her Siblings Gerald Trombley, Robert (Theresa)Trombley, Merrilda Dion, Madora Jarvis, Raymond Trombley, Reginald (Rhonda) Trombley, Bert (Carol) Trombley Jr. Anne (David) Trombley-Musselwhite. Several Nieces and Nephews. Dorothy is predeceased by her spouse Otis Rabideau. Her Grandson Joseph Peryea. Her Great Grandson Brandon Sorrell Her siblings; Grace (Paul) Wolf. Clarence (Beverley) Trombley Lawrence (Irene) Trombley, Christine Trombley, Gladys Trombley, Homer Trombley, Floyd (Diane) (Elizabeth)Trombley. Bruce Trombley. Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025 from 2pm-5pm at the Brown Funeral Home 29 Broad Street, Plattsburgh, New York. Funeral Service to be held at 11am at St. Edmunds Church in Ellenburg. Burial will take place in the Spring.
