Plattsburgh Dr. Ronald G. Malseptic, MD, 68, of Flaglar Drive, Plattsburgh, NY, passed away on Friday June 24, 2016 at his home. He was born in Yonkers, NY on August 4, 1947, the son of George and Flora (Marinelli) Malseptic. Ronald graduated from Yonkers High School and then went on to Boston University. He received his doctorate in medicine while in Rome, Italy. Ronald was a Nephrologist at CVPH Medical Center and had a private practice. He was the Nephrologist at H.K. Freedman Renal Center, Plattsburgh, Elizabethtown Dialysis Unit, Elizabethtown, NY, Hastings Hemodialysis Unit, Malone, NY, Saranac Lake Dialysis Unit and Massena Dialysis Unit. Ronald dedicated over 30 years in the North Country and considered himself a "North Country Doctor." He had a passion for medicine, music and spending time with family and loved ones. He is survived by his wife Lee Ann (Chester) Malseptic of Plattsburgh, four sons; Gabriel Malseptic and his wife Ayesha Cammaerts of Cambridge, MA, Dana Malseptic of Brooklyn, NY, Michael Malseptic of Plattsburgh and Marc Malseptic of Plattsburgh, a grandson Maxwell Cammaerts, his sibling, Dr. Lynn Seldon, her husband Bob and their son Nicholas of Santa Monica, CA, his uncle John Marinelli of Yonkers, NY, several cousins, friends and patients also survive him. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday July 13, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or your local dialysis unit.
