Earl J Darrah

Plattsburgh Mr. Earl J. Darrah, 81, of Flynn Ave. in Plattsburgh, passed away Monday, September 21, 2009 at his residence. He was born in Plattsburgh on September 7, 1928, the son of John and Grace (Laundry) Darrah. Earl was employed for many years at Bay View Dairy in Plattsburgh and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by a daughter and son in law, Judy and Mark Stone of Plattsburgh, a son Thomas Darrah and his fiancee Sandy Heffernan of Auburn, a sister, Geraldine Bellows of Florida, his aunt, Mildred Gallagher of Plattsburgh, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. His wife, Jean M. Darrah passed away in 2007. In accordance with Earl's wishes , there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 25, 2009 at 10:00 am from St. John's Church in Plattsburgh. Interment will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery .
