Earl F Hafler

Plattsburgh Mr. Earl F. "Yogi" Hafler, 76, of Rugar Street in Plattsburgh, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2009 with his loving wife and daughters by his side. He was born in Gravity, PA. on December 19, 1932, the son of Ralph and Ada (Osgood). He was employed by the D & H Railroad for 34 years as a plumber foreman. He also served in the Army National Guard for 3 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and cars. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Loretta (Ciccone) Hafler of Plattsburgh, his son Robert Earl Hafler and his girlfriend Joanne of Schenectady, his daughters and sons in law, Roseanne and Ken Dubuque of Rouses Point, Donna and Allen Wood of Altona, his 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren whom he loved very much and spoiled every chance he got. In accordance with Earl's wishes, there will be no calling hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
