Edmund J Caron Jr

Edmund J. "Sonny" Caron, Jr., 82, of Plattsburgh, passed away Friday, March 24, 2023 at the Plattsburgh Rehabilitation and Nursing Center with family by his side. He was born in Plattsburgh on October 10, 1940, the son of the late Edmund and Shirley (Lapham) Caron, Sr.
Sonny served in the U.S. Navy from 1958 to 1961 and later was employed as a Quality Control Supervisor at Imperial Wallcoverings until his retirement. He enjoyed music and had a band "Hooterville Express" for many years and also enjoyed riding his Harley.
He is survived by his daughters Debbie and Sandy Caron, his brother Leeward and sister in law Geri Caron, his grandsons: Corey martin and Heith Duprey, and several great grandchildren and nieces .
Funeral services will be held privately for the family.
