Edna F Mclean

Plattsburgh Edna F. McLean, 86, of Truman Avenue, Plattsburgh, NY passed away on Wednesday March 16, 2011 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Beekmantown, NY on May 28, 1924 the daughter of Hector and Olive (Ouimette) Chauvin. Edna was a member of St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh. She enjoyed spending time with her family and caring for her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Vernon McLean, a son Terry McLean and a brother Merritt Chauvin. Edna is survived by four children; Vernon McLean, Jr., Stephen McLean of West Chazy, Isabelle "Izzie" McLean of Plattsburgh and June McLean of NH, eight grandchildren, a sister Iona McLean of Burlington, VT and several nieces and nephews also survive her. Calling hours will be held on Friday March 18, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday March 19, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh, burial will be later in the year in St. Peter's Cemetery.
