Edna M. Sorel, 94, formerly of Sorrell Ave., Plattsburgh passed away Saturday, July 20, 2019 at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Ticonderoga, NY on October 22, 1924 the daughter of Hermas and Margaret (Signor) Rabideau. She was a member of St. Peter’s church.
“Ed” as she was affectionally known by her late husband Clifford, was known as a thoughtful and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother with a wonderful sense of humor. She will be remembered for her smile and passion for life and others. Ed’s hobbies included crafts, decorating, and shopping. She was filled with joy as she watched others open the treasures that she prepared.
Edna was predeceased by her parents, her husband Clifford Sorel, and several siblings. Those left to cherish her memory include her children Michael Sorel (Mariellen, preceded in death), Jean Silcock and Thomas Sorel (Laurie); grandchildren Casey Silcock(Heather), Chase Vaughn (Katie), and Matthew Sorel; great grandchildren Samantha Silcock, Max Silcock and Kyler Vaughn; and sister Barbara Willette.
