West Chazy Edward L. Myatt, 94, of West Church Street, West Chazy, NY passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born in Altona, NY on August 14, 1914, the son of Arthur and Dora (Blow) Myatt. Ed work for many years at Pal Blade in Plattsburgh before he began working at Georgia Pacific in Plattsburgh until his retirement in 1976. He loved hunting and fishing. His greatest joy though was spending time with his children and grandchildren. Ed was predeceased by his parents, his wife Audrey (Frenyea) Myatt who passed away in 1978, a daughter Constance Rabideau and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by two sons; Edward "Buck" Myatt and his wife Linda of West Chazy, NY and Maurice "Luke Myatt and his wife Janice of West Chazy, NY and a daughter; Nancy and her husband Norman LaValley of Altona, NY and Florida. Ed is also survived by eleven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Calling Hours will be held on Friday February 6, 2009 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church in West Chazy. Burial will be later in the year in the parish cemetery.
