Mrs. K. Eileen Woodward, 87, formerly of Lyon Mt., New York and most recently of Guy Way, Plattsburgh, New York passed away Saturday, January 24, 2009 at the Evergreen Valley Nursing Home. She was born in Chateaugay, New York on August 3, 1921 the daughter of Dr. Harold and Agnes (Hartnett) Tobin. Eileen retired from Clinton County Department of Social Services. She enjoyed reading, discussing politics, traveling and taking daily walks. While living in Lyon Mt., Eileen was a member of St. Bernard's Church until moving to Plattsburgh in 1984 when she became a member of St. Augustine's Church in Peru. She was predeceased by her parents Dr. Harold and Agnes Tobin, her husband Everett "Zeb" Woodward, a son Michael Tobin Woodward, three sisters; Mercedes LaFountain, Pauline Reif and Lucille Picard and a brother, Robert Tobin. Eileen is survived by a daughter Mary Anne Renadette of Plattsburgh, a brother, Rev. George W. Tobin of Plattsburgh, two grandchildren, Kealy Renadette of Mesa, Arizona and Kevin Renadette of Plattsburgh, several nieces and nephews. At Eileen's request, there will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be held at a later date at St. Bernard's Cemetery in Lyon Mt. Friends wishing may have Masses said in her memory.
