Eleanor L Kennison

Mrs. Eleanor L. Kennison, 91, of Bushey Boulevard, Plattsburgh, NY, passed away, Friday, May 21, 2010 at her home. She was born in Plattsburgh, New York on October 30, 1918 the daughter of Andrew and Jennie (Coon) Bordeau. Eleanor enjoyed playing bingo and she was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church. She was predeceased by her parents; Andrew and Jennie Bordeau, her husband Oreal Fountain, Sr. and her second husband Herbert Kennison, her sisters, Dorothy Castine, Martha Castine and her brothers Walter Bordeau, Leonard Bordeau and Stanley Bordeau and a daughter-in-law Margaret Fountain. Eleanor is survived by four sons; Oreal Fountain, Jr. of Plattsburgh, Gary Fountain and his wife Elaine of Beekmantown, Robert "Billy" Fountain and his companion Angela Macey of Altona, a daughter, Marjorie Francis of Tunica, Mississippi, two sisters Marvel Babbie of Plattsburgh, Shirley Matott and her husband Rudy of Beekmantown, two brothers; Marvin "bucky" Bordeau and his wife Yvonne of Beekmantown, Andrew Bordeau and his wife Veronica of Plattsburgh, 25 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive her. Calling hours will be Sunday, May 23, 2010 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, May 24, 2010 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Victory Church. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
