Elizabeth A Macbeth

Elizabeth A. Macbeth, 70, of Addoms Street, Plattsburgh, NY, passed away on Sunday February 20, 2022 at UVHN:CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Albany, NY on December 18, 1951 the daughter of Eugene and Marie (Boutin) Macbeth.
Elizabeth (Betty Ann) graduated from Plattsburgh High School in 1970 and attended SUNY Cobleskill and Mater Dei College before going to work in the business office of CVPH Medical Center. She also worked for Dr Harrell for a time and JCEO.
In her younger years she enjoyed winter skiing. She was an avid reader and loved both jigsaw and crossword puzzles. She also loved to garden and decorating for holidays, especially Christmas.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents, Eugene J Macbeth and Marie Boutin Macbeth.

She is survived by her sister Jean Macbeth Backus (John), nieces Stephanie Bradshaw (Joey), Tabitha Backus, Elizabeth Kearns (Derek) and nephew Jason Backus, as well as great nephews, niece and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday February 24, 2022 at 10:00 am at St. Peter’s Church in Plattsburgh. Burial will be later in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
