Elizabeth I Miller

Plattsburgh Elizabeth I. "Irene" Miller, 86, of Lynn Avenue, Plattsburgh, NY, passed away on Wednesday July 20, 2016 at UVHN:CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with her loving family by her side. She was born in Mooers, NY on August 29, 1929 the daughter of David and Albina Duffany. She worked at Grandway for nineteen years, then twenty years at Zayres and finishing her work at Kmart Little Caesers where she worked for many years. She enjoyed working very much. Elizabeth loved her family unconditionally. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, and do canning with her daughters. Elizabeth is a one of a kind mother and grandmother. She will always hold a special place in all our hearts. She is deceased by her son's Steven Miller, Gene Miller and his wife Gloria Miller, a daughter Diane Harper, one brother, Pete Duffany, two sisters; May "Tiny" Duffany and Bertha "Edith" Case. Elizabeth is survived by her children; Linda Obert of Plattsburgh, NY, Judy Rivers of Dundee, NY, Barbara Cummings and her companion Earl Hoover of Pennyan, NY, and Christine and Randy Brown of Plattsburgh, NY, two sisters; Katherine "John" Duffany and Mary Miller, she is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
