Elizabeth A Seymour

Plattsburgh Mrs. Elizabeth A. "Betty" Seymour, 76, of Tioga Road, Champlain Park, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with family by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh on March 22, 1937, the daughter of the late Harold and Lillian (Avery) Cote. Betty graduated from St. John's Academy in 1955. She was employed by N.Y. Telephone Co. for many years and later was employed at Clinton Auto Parts until her retirement. She enjoyed playing bridge at the Elks Lodge and also enjoyed knitting, crossword puzzles, gardening, and her cat "Fred". She is survived by her son and daughter in law Robert M. and Abby Seymour of Morrisonville, a grandson; Alexander Seymour, her former husband Robert O. Seymour of Plattsburgh, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Ron Cote. In accordance with Betty's wishes, there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 10:00 am at St. John's Church. Interment will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
