Ella M Taylor

Malone Mrs. Ella M. Taylor, 85 of Academy Street., Malone NY passed away on February 20, 2009 at Alice Hyde Hospital after a year and half battle with cancer. She was born in Churubusco, NY on January 1, 1924 to Mary (Ezrow) and George Venette. She was predeceased by her parents and several brothers and sisters. Ella worked as a waitress for many years at several local restaurants and later cooked for the Franklin County Jail which she retired. She loved animals and you could find her fishing along local rivers. She is survived by her husband, Howard R. Taylor, two daughters, Judy LaMere of Chazy NY, Brenda Taylor of Atlanta, GA., and one son Roy H. Taylor and wife Denise of Acworth, GA; three grandchildren, Todd LaMere, Hans Hoffman, Nikki Taylor and one step granddaughter Kimberly Lee, one brother, Archie Venette and wife Jane of Baldwinsville, NY; a sister-in-law, Jane Venette of Chateaugay, NY and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a local young man who adored her greatly, Toby Gratton. At Ella's request, there will be no calling hours. A funeral service will be at a later date at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, New York.
