Elvien Victor "El" Kriplin, infant son of Jennifer DuBrey and Lance Kriplin, was called to Heaven on Friday, January 12, 2018. El was born November 30, 2017 at the UVM-CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh but spent his days in the loving care of NICU at the UVM Medical Center in Burlington, VT. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, his brothers, Adrien DuBrey, Ebyn Kriplin and Adien Dobson, maternal-grandparents, Tina and Kathleen McGee, and Victor DuBrey Jr. and Celeste Caruso, paternal-grandparents Mary Jane Hulbert (John), aunts and uncles ; Jessica DuBrey (Joe Maldonado), Allen Caruso, Victor DuBrey III, Luke, Jonah, Zoey, Zayne and Wyatt McGee, Heath, Kyle, and Wyatt Kriplin, cousins Tiana Decker, Dylan and Macey Heuer, Kaiden, Kaelin, and Kannon Kriplin, maternal great-grandmother, Patricia DuBrey, paternal great-grandmother Florence Kriplin, and many great aunts and uncles and a very large extended family. Elvien was greeted in Heaven by his paternal -grandfather, Harold Kriplin Jr., his paternal great-grandfather, Harold Kriplin Sr., maternal great-grandparents, Ruth Macey and Victor DuBrey Sr., uncle, Hunter Kriplin and cousin Korben Kriplin. Donations in Elvien's memory may be made to Children's Miracle Network, Ronald McDonald House, or March of Dimes. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate El's time with us on, Friday, January 19, 2018 from 4:00-7:00 pm, at the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh. A prayer service will follow at 7:00pm.
