Ernest "Sonny" R. Martin

Ernest "Sonny" R. Martin, 81, of Rouses Point , passed away, Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at the Meadowbrook Healthcare Facility surrounded by his family. He was born on October 12th, 1942 , the son of Clifford Martin, Sr. and Florence LeClair. Sonny will be remembered for his love for his family, hunting, fishing and loved the outdoors. He is survived by his children, Linda Nixon and her husband William, Wanda Rabideau and her husband John, Amy Smith and her husband Gary, and Michael Martin and his wife Vicky; the love of his life and former spouse, Lucille Martin; grandchildren, Nicholas, Madison, Quinn Martin, Megan and Cassidy Nixon, John, and Nisa Rabideau, Paige and Conor Driscoll; great grandchild, Cameron Driscoll; siblings, Blanche Blake, Clifford Martin, Edward Martin and Joanne Deo. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister, Lenora Hebert and his brother Raymond Martin Calling hours will be held on Saturday February 24, 2024 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.
