Marshall, 69, of Oak Street, Plattsburgh NY passed away on Monday January 28, 2013 at the Clinton County Nursing Home in Plattsburgh NY at the age of 69. He was born in New York City on March 17, 1943 to Eddie and Thelma Downes- Marshall. Errol graduated from Morris High School, Bronx NY in 1961. He had a variety of jobs in New York City before coming to Plattsburgh to attend college at SUNY Plattsburgh. Errol will be best remembered for working at Champlain Centre Mall in Plattsburgh where he was affectionately known as the Mall Marshall and nominated for employee of the year in 1990. He enjoyed playing chess, reading and listening to music. He is predeceased by his parents and two brothers; Laverne E. Marshall and Joseph Simmons, Jr. Errol is survived by a daughter Aubrey Marshall of Buffalo, two sons; Emerson Marshall of HI and Kendall Marshall of Malone, two grandchildren; Athaan and Baileigh, two sisters; Avis Simmons and Phyllis Hamilton-Nicholas of NYC, several cousins, and numerous nieces and nephews. He also leaves a host of extended family and friends to mourn his passing. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday February 5, 2013 from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.
