Ethan A. Moussesu, 27, of Le Blanc Lane in Plattsburgh passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at his home. He was born in Burlington Vermont on March 23, 1994, the son of Anthony and Sheila (Pombrio) Moussesu.
Diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of three, he never let that stand in the way of his living life to the fullest. Known for his lightning wit,
unrelenting sarcasm and love of playing bass guitar, he was a shining light in the lives of all who loved him.
Ethan graduated from Northern Adirondack Central School in 2012 and from SUNY Plattsburgh in 2016 with a degree in Environmental Science. He was employed by Atlantic Testing Laboratories for several years, and most recently at UPS.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Lauren (Cory), his brother, Alex (Tara), his paternal grandparents, Raymond and Judith Mousseau, his maternal grandparents, Sherman and Shirley Pombrio, three special cousins: Shelby Trombley, Tyler Pombrio, and Lacey Pombrio, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He also leaves behind special friends Dustin Setzer, Dylan Jackson- laclair, David Miller and Joshua Bartholomew as well as his beloved cat Cinder.
He was pre deceased by his maternal grandmother, Winifred Mousseau.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 from 12:00 to 1:00 at the Brown Funeral Home, 3123 Miner Farm Road in Altona. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home chapel.
